About The Artwork
When I look at street art, there’s always one word that screams to me ; “attitude”. Not merely the aggression or the illegality of it but rather the courageous energy of different paints & sprays & overlaying textures that build up surfaces full of color, writings & patterns that possibly stands indicative of freedom to express something truthfully. We live a place where collectively, as a country, society & people, we’ve tried, time & time again to express & fight for what’s right, so much so to the point where we’ve bled & failed again & again.
The image of the lady holding a keris stands indicative of a warrior, an allegory of resiliency against the storm we face. I hope that with this piece, I can incite a spark of hope & bravery to take care of each other & keep fighting for our freedom, no matter the different colors, writings & patterns we come from. The storm we face ahead is only greater that the last, but despite it all, no matter what, I will always be there for you – and that is the only “attitude” I believe is critically worth putting on & it’s one I’m proud to wear.

His love for film & art came greatly at the expense of Hollywood cinema.
His love and passion for art has helped him navigate his journey in his film career. His love for cinema has always been translated through his art and vice versa.
