Meet The Artist
Jonathan Jayasuria
Jonathan Jayasuria is an emerging filmmaker, writer, actor & a self-taught artist from a young age, whose work has been exhibited & sold on multiple occasions & has won countless competitions over the years, such the Grand Prize winner of IMU’s 2020 Art Fest, the Spotlight 2020, 2021 & 2022 Jury – Finalist Selections by the Penang Art District & SW Corp’s Waste To Art Finalists Winners to name a few in recent years.
After graduating from secondary school, Jonathan had worked part time in a comic book/hobby store where he had thought people how to paint miniatures and model kits which explains Jonathan’s love for art and an eye for detail for almost everything as part of his talent and hobby which carries over to his work ethic.
His love for film & art came greatly at the expense of Hollywood cinema.
His love and passion for art has helped him navigate his journey in his film career. His love for cinema has always been translated through his art and vice versa.
