About The Artwork
Gunung Kinabalu, an iconic landmark and the highest mountain in South East Asia situated in Sabah stands majestically in the background. Its stream radiating from the mountain sides runs through the plains, meandering as the waters flow to the rivers and eventually into the open seas. The flora and fauna that lines along these water ways are a sight to behold.

Meet The Artist
Candice Singha Wong
I was born in Kuala Lumpur, when my dad was posted to the Royal Military Collage, Sungai Besi, Selangor. I was born with an impaired hearing but, this did not stop me from pursuing my education and my interest in arts. I went through primary and lower secondary education before attending the school for the deaf, at Shah Alam, where I pursued my interest in graphic arts. I then enrolled myself at the College of Graphic Design.
I have been employed as a graphic artist with several companies in the Kuala Lumpur and Selangor areas. Meanwhile, I developed interest in fine arts, specifically in paintings with oil, acrylic and even watercolor based. I began exhibiting my paintings at various organized public art exhibitions. The invaluable experiences during the exhibition, inspired me to enhance my skills and understanding of the public’s specific art interests and their taste.
