About The Artwork
Symbolising three essential elements of Malay heritage: the Keris as a symbol of tradition and protection, Silat as the art of movement and discipline, and Ukiran as the expression of skilled craftsmanship. These three elements are woven together in a celebration of cultural heritage and artistic expression. This artwork portrays the harmony between the traditional weapon, the graceful movements of Silat, and the beauty of hand-carved motifs that carry stories from the past. Each element reflects the values of courage, discipline, wisdom, and craftsmanship. Through this composition, the artist honours the legacy of Malay culture and preserves its timeless identity for future generations.
