Meet The Artist
Lim Anuar graduated from an interior architecture and visual arts background and is now a self-established batik artist as his main painting medium because it embodied the Malaysian identity, culture and heritage.
His unique interpretation features the scene of his birthplace, ranging from scenes of nature and the agricultural background of Malaysian life to the rich architectural heritage of the land. What made it even more impressive is he chooses to realize his vision through a series of batik paintings.
Contemporary batik art is a design technique that uses wax and dye to create stunning patterns on a piece of fabric, such as canvas cotton being elevated to become an inspired art form.
