About The Artwork
The artist loves how eerie yet graceful dragons look. This artwork was inspired by the traditional Chinese dragon known as 龙 and pronounced as lóng. She decided to put her own twist to it. The blue and purple accents represent the good that exists in the menacing-looking beast. You could call it his true colours.

Meet The Artist
Julita Anisha is a self-taught artist based in Selangor, Malaysia, who’s mostly known for her fine pencil colour work, as she pays very close attention to the details and quality of her cat portraits. She has sold many custom drawings to cat owners who trust in her skills to create portraits of their beloved fluffy companions.
Born in the early 2000’s, Julita was homeschooled from a young age, which gave her freedom to explore and feed her curiosity for arts and crafts. She started by drawing her original characters and writing lore for them alongside her sister, who is also an artist. She’s also tried numerous crafts over the years, such as needle felting, sewing, crocheting, toy making, and miniature clay modelling.
One day, she was given an art book about how to use multiple art mediums and how to draw realistic animals. This intrigued her, and so began her journey into realism artwork. However, visual art isn’t her only creative outlet. She has an ardent interest in music, such as playing guitar, singing, and songwriting.
Julita wishes to inspire other young artists to pursue their deepest passions, despite how society may perceive them. She continues to challenge herself by turning her creative ideas into reality.
