About The Artwork

The artist loves how eerie yet graceful dragons look. This artwork was inspired by the traditional Chinese dragon known as 龙 and pronounced as lóng. She decided to put her own twist to it. The blue and purple accents represent the good that exists in the menacing-looking beast. You could call it his true colours.

Meet The Artist

Julita Anisha
Greetings, my name is Julita Anisha. I’m a 17 year old artist based in Selangor, Malaysia. I’m a self-taught artist; I used online resources and books to learn however, talking to other artists and watching others draw helped tremendously in building my confidence and skills as an artist. My early art journey consisted of drawing mostly girls, cats, and cartoon characters. I was really drawn to painting, music, and textile art since I was homeschooled—which meant I had a lot of free time to do something creative. My favourite art mediums to use are pencil colours and acrylic paint.

Some may label me as ‘The girl who draws cats’, since cats have been my main art subject for over 9 years. My art journey is continuous. You can never stop learning more about art and that’s the beauty of it.
