Malaysia comprises a diverse mix of cultures and traditions from its multi-racial population. Despite the differences, there is harmony as Malaysians live in tolerance and peace. As depicted in the painting, the Malaysians in traditional attire come together to form the nation’s name – MALAYSIA
It stands as a visual tribute to unity through art.

Meet The Artist
Allen Tan is a self-taught artist from Malacca who expresses his emotions through art. He has held solo exhibitions in Melaka, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Korea and has been commissioned by corporate, hospitality, and retail brands, including Eastin Hotel Petaling Jaya and Starbucks Times Square KL.
From 2004 to 2006, he served as a Canon Malaysia Art Ambassador and painted a portrait for Hong Kong actor Simon Yam. In 2007, three of his paintings were presented to The King of Malaysia at Istana Negara KL and Istana Terengganu.
His 2012 painting, 8 HORSES (156cm x 1000cm), was recognized by the Malaysian Book of Records as the longest horse painting on canvas. He is also the first consecutive recipient of the US Creative Telly Awards and won The Malaysia Greatest Creativity Artist Award 2023. As a social initiative, he published Vallentine Story Book to support underprivileged children and the elderly.
