Meet The Artist
BK Yap
BK Yap (Yap Bu Kiyang) is a Malaysian airbrush artist born in 1967 in Tanjong Sepat, Selangor. A graduate of Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), Singapore.He began his career as an advertising designer and illustrator before transitioning into a professional fine artist in 2015.
Known for his meticulous realism, vibrant colours and distinctive airbrush techniques, BK has participated in Art Expo Malaysia (2017 & 2019), Painting for the Heart — ART FOR GOOD Charity Group Art Exhibition (2019), UCSI University’s “We Share the Same Moon” (2022), and a group exhibition at Wanawani Art Gallery (2025).
He is currently exclusively represented by Art Xchange Gallery, Indonesia and Singapore.
